Gangamai Industries and Constructions Limited (GIACL) is an integrated Sugar Manufacturing and Civil Constructions Company.
Incorporated in 1999 as Sugar manufacturing Company, GIACL today has grown itself into a noteworthy construction player in
Maharashtra and integrated Sugar Manufacturing firm with interests in Sugar, Rectified Spirits, Extra Neutral Alcohol and Ethanol businesses.
The Sugar and Allied products business unit of the company has expertise in manufacturing of sugar and uses the by products of sugar production -
molasses, bagasse and press-mud for manufacturing of high value products such as Rectified Spirit, Extra Neutral Alcohol, Ethanol and Fertilizers.
The company started operations with one Sugar Plant of 2500 TCD; today the company operates two sugar plants with total capacity of 4000 TCD,
Ethanol plant of 45 KLPD and two distilleries with total capacity of 6000 KLPD. Also, the company manages its majority of its power requirements through captive power plants of 3 MW each installed at both factories. Our sugar business has grown with CAGR of 72% from Rs. 22.81 Crores in 2004- 2005 to Rs. 67.48 Crores in 2006-2007.
