Mr. Ranjeet Mulay

Mr. Ranjeet Mulay, 32 years, is the managing director of GIACL. He is a Production Engineer and has been involved in every aspect of business management in GIACL since its inception. He is credited with following achievements: Born to an Agriculturalist family, Mr. Mulay completed his graduation in Science and then joined his brothers as one of the promoters of Mulay Brothers Limited (MBL). Established in 1969 by Mulay Family, MBL is 35 year old firm having expertise in Irrigation Projects, Dams, excavation in Hard Rock, Earth Works, Tunnel Works and other allied works.

GIACL revenues have grown at a CAGR of 34% from Rs. 8 million in 1999 to Rs. 937.5 million in 2007,
The construction business was started in GIACL and construction orderbooks have grown at CAGR of 135%,
Starting with one Sugar mill of 2500 TCD, GIACL has moved up the sugar value chain with integration of distillery and ethanol businesses. GIACL also enhanced its Sugar Production Capacity to 4000 TCD, and
GIACL successfully managed to grow during the 2000-2004, one of the darkest period of sugar industry in India, through efficient inventory and sales management.
The Sugar Mill was set up in a record time of 9 months with the low capital cost of Rs 332.9 million only. (Other companies in the adjoining areas made capital investment of Rs. 450.0 million for similar projects).
